The Stûv 21 was designed to operate with the glass door in intermediate position, which means the hearth can be connected to a flue with small cross-section or insufficient draught without suffering any backdraughts.

Everybody knows that mechanical components such as ball bearings, pulleys, runners, cables, especially when subjected to high temperatures, will soon or later require some maintenance or even replacement.

Some manufacturers do not provide access to these components, which inevitably means trouble at some point, like having to remove the hearth altogether.

With a Stûv, all mechanical components are accessed in a matter of seconds.

Revolution !

The cylindrical combustion chamber of the Stûv 30 features a three-door drum :

. a glass door
. another door with only a glazed strip for the open fire
. a solid door for slow-burning operation.

Switching from one operation mode to another simply involves rotating the drum, which takes a couple of seconds.

The Stûv 30-in 3-in-1 insert fireplace works as an open fire, as a glass door fire and as a slow-burner according to the family's activities. It is most probably one of the most efficient inserts on the market.

The glass door provides a wideangled vision of the flames and perfect safety. It’s the regular operation mode...1/3 of a revolution gives an open fire...
