Wood Burning Boiler Stoves![]() Boiler Stoves are a range of wood-burning stoves with a difference - a built-in water tank which may be connected to the existing heating system. A stove with a water tank may be used as a supplement or alternative to other sources of heating such as solar heating, geothermal heating, heat pumps, electric heating, or a gas or oil fired furnace. About half of the heating effect from the stove is transmitted to the water side, while the remainder is used for efficient room heating. A stove with a water tank can be connected to an existing central heating system at any suitable point. The existing circulation pump will be sufficient to run the entire system with the stove, radiators, and underfloor heating. When choosing your boiler stove there is a wide range of styles to complement your setting including contemporary designs from Hwam, such as the Hwam Monet boiler stove (above) and more traditional models like the Harmony 1, a cast iron stove with 3kW boiler. For greater hot water requirements similar models such as the Harmony 3, with a 7.5kw boiler are available. Where the boiler is not required as a focal feature in a living space, such as your lounge or kitchen, the HDG Range of Log Boilers, Pellet boilers, Waste, Wood Chip and Biomass Boilers gives you a choice of innovative water heating and space heating systems for both domestic and commercial situations. |
