This means attention to the flue, chimney lining, the chimney and considering the addition of a chimney cowl to reduce downdraught and stabilise fluctuating flue draughts. A chimney cowl can also prolong the life of your flue by protecting it from extreme weather conditions as well as preventing birds from entering the chimney. |
